Just an easy fix for today’s post. I had someone ask me the other day how I would go about tightening a loose toilet seat and thought why not put it on the web…If you toilet seat is loose here is what you do. First you need to identify your toilet seat hinges on the back side of the seat. If the hinges have decorative covers open them up with a small flat head screwdriver.
Next, use a screwdriver to tighten the plastic bolt (you will have to hold the nut on the bottom with your hand or a pair of pliers). Repeat the steps on the other hinge and wallah!, you have a tight toilet seat.
